Job Description

4+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms, primarily AWS.
4+ years of experience as an enterprise systems administrator in client/server environments, with expertise in automation and provisioning tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation.
Strong working knowledge of Linux-based systems, including hardware, software, networking, and storage.
Proven experience in designing and provisioning cloud infrastructure on AWS for small, medium, and enterprise-scale applications.
Deep expertise in AWS services, including VPC, EC2, ELB, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Security Hub, and AWS Config.
Proficiency in developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, with experience managing reusable modules and remote backends.
Skilled in Python scripting for automation, infrastructure validation, and integration with AWS SDKs (Boto3) and APIs.
Experience in cloud adoption and migration, including application readiness assessments, environment prototyping, secure data migration, and performance tuning.
Strong technical understanding of infrastructure components such as networking, storage, Linux/Windows servers, and virtualization.
Experience implementing secure software-defined networking architectures using Security Groups, NACLs, AWS WAF, and Transit Gateway.
In-depth knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps practices, including building and securing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and AWS CodePipeline.
Familiarity with security tools and frameworks, including SonarQube, Trivy, Snyk, Checkov, Aqua, HashiCorp Vault, and AWS Secrets Manager, and their integration into DevSecOps pipelines.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS, including cluster provisioning, Helm-based application deployment, and autoscaling.
Understanding of Kubernetes security, including RBAC, Network Policies, Pod Security Standards, and tools like Kube-bench and OPA/Gatekeeper.
Experience with GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD or Flux, and monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch Container Insights.
