AWS DevOps Engineer

As an AWS DevOps & Node.js Engineer, your role will involve architecting, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-native solutions. You should have hands-on expertise in building automation frameworks, implementing CI/CD pipelines, optimizing cloud infrastructure, and developing backend services using Node.js. Your problem-solving capabilities, experience with distributed systems, and ability to deliver reliable DevOps and backend engineering support in a fast-paced environment will be crucial. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and optimize AWS infrastructure using services like EC2, Lambda, S3, ECS, CloudFormation, and VPC. - Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or CloudFormation. - Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines through Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools. - Implement automated deployment frameworks for seamless and zero-downtime releases. - Manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes for scalability and reliability. - Monitor system health and performance with CloudWatch, Prometheus, and related observability tools. - Ensure security best practices, access control policies, IAM role management, and compliance across cloud environments. Backend Engineering: - Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js, Express.js, and microservices architectures. - Integrate backend services with third-party APIs, databases, and cloud-native components. - Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement system-level improvements. - Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to deliver robust and maintainable backend solutions. Required Technical Skills: - Strong proficiency with AWS services like EC2, Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation, IAM, VPC, and API Gateway. - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar automation pipelines. - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. - Proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. - Backend development skills in Node.js, Express.js, and REST API design. - Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar stacks. - Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud networking, security, and performance tuning. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven design patterns. - Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB. - Exposure to microservices, API lifecycle management, and cloud-native design principles. - Experience working in EST or similar overlapping time zones.,
