________________________________________Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of existing .NET Frameworkbased Windows Services from on-prem servers to AWS.
• Execute a phased migration strategy:o Phase 1 (Lift & Shift): Run Windows Services as-is” on AWS EC2 instances.o Phase 2 (Containerization): Modify application and environment setup to make services container-ready.o Phase 3 (ECS Migration): Deploy containerized services on AWS ECS for automated scaling and orchestration.• Design and implement scalable batch throughput processing to enable parallel execution in the cloud.• Establish secure connectivity between on-prem SQL Server and AWS workloads using Zero Trust principles.• Work on networking, IAM policies, VPC, VPN/Direct Connect, and security groups to ensure secure hybrid cloud setup.• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, container deployments, and environment provisioning.• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using AWS CloudWatch (and other observability tools if needed).• Collaborate with developers, testers, and architects to ensure cloud migration aligns with business and performance goals.• Document infrastructure, deployment processes, and security setup for knowledge sharing.________________________________________Requirements:• 4-6+ years of experience in DevOps engineering with focus on cloud migrations and containerization.• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, ECS, ECR, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, SQS.• Expertise in Docker/Windows containerization and orchestration.• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).• Solid background in networking and security (VPN, Zero Trust, hybrid cloud, firewalls, IAM roles/policies).• Familiarity with on-prem to cloud migrations involving SQL Server and Windows workloads.• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation.• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation).• Good collaboration and problem-solving skills; ability to work in cross-functional teams.
