AWS DevOps Architect - Security, Compliance & Infrastructure Optimization

As an AWS DevOps Architect specializing in Security, Compliance, and Infrastructure Optimization, you will play a crucial role in designing and managing secure, compliant, and high-performing cloud infrastructures across various regions. Your responsibilities will involve technical leadership in DevOps, SecOps, and Cloud Architecture, ensuring adherence to global data privacy laws, security best practices, and regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001. Below are the details of the role: **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect and oversee secure, scalable, and compliant AWS cloud infrastructures across multiple countries and regions. - Design infrastructure with strong data privacy and sovereignty controls aligned with local compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). - Implement DevSecOps practices integrating security at every stage of the CI/CD pipeline. - Establish and maintain multi-environment strategies (Dev, QA, Staging, Production) ensuring consistency, isolation, and performance. - Design and automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK). - Lead incident response, vulnerability assessment, and security posture management across cloud environments. - Collaborate with compliance and audit teams to ensure ongoing alignment with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, or country-specific data protection standards. - Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog). - Manage cost optimization, performance tuning, and disaster recovery strategies for all environments. - Mentor DevOps and engineering teams in secure and compliant cloud practices. **Required Skills & Qualifications:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. - 10+ years of experience in IT/Cloud Infrastructure, with 5+ years in AWS Cloud & DevOps. - Proven experience architecting secure, multi-region AWS infrastructures for global enterprises. - Strong knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework, Security Hub, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, IAM, KMS, and WAF. - Expertise in DevOps automation using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CodePipeline). - Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation). - Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, key management, and IAM best practices. - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes). - Understanding of security and compliance frameworks ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate across engineering, compliance, and management teams. - Demonstrated experience in performance optimization, cost management, and automation-driven operations. **Certifications (Mandatory):** - At least two or more of the following certifications are required: - AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional - AWS Certified Security Specialty - AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional - Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred This job will be based at Gigaplex in Airoli West.,
