Aws Cloud Engineer

Job Overview

• Our company is searching for an experienced resource who can understand technical aspects of Cloud requirements and manage Cloud support team operations of AWS.
• Take ownership of all Projects, IT Operations, compliance, security & outstanding tasks related to AWS Cloud and its related integrations.
• Setting up services based on AWS recommended the best practices for network and security, logging & monitoring, operations, cloud architecture, billing, etc.
• Hardening cloud computing and cloud network environment.
• Good knowledge of AWS IAM and how to configure least privilege to a user and service accounts.
• Creating and maintaining infrastructure on AWS.
• The resource will be responsible for deployment, monitoring, reporting, security, and life-cycle management solutions services through our hosted environments and proper training on the staff involved in Cloud Operations.

Responsibilities and Duties (Core Technical Skills on below Services (Must have))

General Skills:

• Good Team Management skills.
• Daily standup meeting with Cloud teams for status reporting.
• Good Reporting skills and preparation / tracking of SOP documents (via Word, PPT and Excel)
• SPOC for all Cloud operational requests on AWS.
• Technical expertise on Linux and Windows cloud servers and administration
• Technical Understanding of Cloud and On-Prem network & their communication
• Knowledge & Experience on tier 3 architecture Infrastructure implementation & configuration

AWS Cloud Services such as:

• AWS CloudFormation
• AWS Config
• Amazon CloudWatch
• Amazon Simple Notification Service
• AWS Kubernetes
• Amazon OpenSearch Service,
• Amazon Kinesis and Kibana
• AWS SSM
• AWS Cloud Infra Services such as:
• AWS Cloud VPC and Network deployment and management
• AWS Cloud EC2, S3, LB, ASG and RDS deployment and management
• Knowledge & Experience on S3 bucket configuration, versioning, and lifecycle policies.
• Knowledge & Experience in Manage IAM roles, policies, and permissions to maintain secure access
• Knowledge & Experience in cloud watch configuration & Management.
• Knowledge & Experience in Networking, VPC setup, Security Group, NACL
• Knowledge of AWS & Akamai WAF

AWS Infra Services:

• AWS Cloud EKS & EMR cluster deployment and management
• AWS Cloud Account setup from scratch
• Manage AWS Cloud ticket and emails
• AWS CloudFront configuration.
• Aws backup service, cost optimization.
• Knowledge of Route 53 & DNS services.
• AWS CloudFront configuration.
• Working knowledge on Windows & Linux OS.

SERVICE WINDOW

• Monday to Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM. Shift can change as per requirement.
• The resource should be extending their support in case of emergency excluding Holidays

Qualifications

• Graduate
• A minimum of 5-7 years of IT experience within a medium-to-large sized business (OS, network operations, and monitoring)
• A minimum of 3-4 relevant years of experience in Cloud Administration (AWS)
• Ability to participate in fast-paced Business and IT teams within Scrum agile processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
