AVP - Sales and Distribution

As an experienced professional joining the AMIN Sales & Distribution team at HSBC Global Asset Management, your role will involve managing the distributor channel network to ensure high mind share for products through innovative promotional schemes and delivering aggressive sales budgets. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing key focus distributors across Banks including Wealth and Personal Banking Segment & National Distributors - Working closely with Group Distribution entities to strengthen the network - Building new distribution channels and penetration opportunities within the IFA segment - Focusing on developing new areas for business expansion and identifying potential counters to increase market share - Developing & owning Regional level relationships based out in the region - Managing key institutional clients in the market - Demonstrating the right behaviors by doing business the right way and living by HSBC values The role may require direct interface with clients, so a mature individual with the ability to promote & sell and discuss markets with ease would be an ideal fit. Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience: - Good understanding of mutual fund products - Strong selling skills & commercial acumen - Good verbal and written communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills - Inclination to work in a client-facing, sales role - Ideally a post-graduate with at least 6 - 10 years of experience; AMFI certification is desired - Candidates without the specified experience/educational qualifications but with a passion for mutual fund sales are also welcome to apply - Valid NISM certification Eligibility Criteria: AMIN employees will be eligible to apply for this role after completion of 12 months in the current role/position at the time of application on level transfer and/or promotion.
