AVP Reporting COE

Role Overview: Join Barclays as an Assistant Vice President (AVP) Reporting COE, where you will support the Senior Financial Business Partner (FBP) in delivering end-to-end financials across a Transaction Cycle/Function by working closely with Business Managers supporting the Transaction Cycle/Function. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement business unit financial strategies, plans, and budgets, utilizing insights to evaluate the financial implications of strategic initiatives and recommend appropriate actions. - Create financial models to forecast future performance, assess investment opportunities, and evaluate financial risks for business units. Analyze the impact of business decisions on financial performance and provide recommendations. - Collaborate cross-functionally to offer financial insights and guidance to business unit stakeholders. - Identify opportunities and implement financial process improvements that streamline financial operations. - Support business units in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks. Provide training and guidance on financial risk management and compliance practices. - Analyze and present financial data to provide insights into business performance, identify trends, and support decision-making. Qualifications Required: - Background in BP&A/Cost Management with experience in Consumed/Segment reporting; understanding of Consumed/Segment reporting is a plus. - Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. - Ability to take ownership of issues and manage them through to successful resolution. - Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities. - MBA/CA/CFA qualifications. - Evidence of career progression in prior roles, demonstrating the ability to maintain energy and resilience within an organization during periods of change or challenges. - Experience in operating in a multi-geographic, matrix organization is advantageous.
