AVP Private Equity

As an AVP Private Equity in the Investment Banking department at our company, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Development of various types of financial models for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions. - End to end execution of Private Equity (PE) and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) assignments. - Sourcing new mandates from clients. - Preparation and review of materials used in client financing, such as investment memoranda, management presentations, valuations, and pitch books. - Developing relationships with new and existing clients, investors, and lenders to expand the business and generate new business opportunities. - Performing due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation for live transactions. - Staying updated on current events, critical issues, and relevant news. - Providing sector and structuring knowledge for detailed appraisal and due diligence of projects/proposals. - Conducting Industry Research & Sector Analysis, Financial Modelling, Balance Sheet Analysis, Contract Evaluation, Risk & Mitigation Matrix Development, SWOT analysis. - Preparation of term sheets, customized sector presentations, and appraisal notes for the Investment Committee. - Interacting with other internal departments to ensure seamless collaboration. - Mentoring and supporting the learning and development of team members.
