Role Overview: As an Assistant Vice President of Manufacturing at an Indian Manufacturing Conglomerate, your primary responsibility will be to plan, organize, monitor, and control all departments from Production to Finishing. You will be setting performance standards and ensuring the achievement of targets for the unit. Your role will also involve overseeing the overall administration, security, and upkeep of the entire facilities. It will be crucial for you to maintain optimum inventory levels, ensure systematic ordering, and strive for 100% On-Time In Full (OTIF) delivery across the plant at all times. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the day-to-day operations of production, quality, and delivery in preparatory, dyeing, weaving, and inspection departments. - Coordinate effectively with the design department, sampling team, and production department to streamline processes. - Monitor and control costs to align with the budget and drive initiatives for cost reduction. - Foster a positive working environment with the unionized workforce, enforcing discipline while promoting high productivity levels. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Textiles Engineering (BTech in Textiles). - Business acumen and analytical skills. - Strong collaboration and team player abilities. - Proficient decision-making skills. - Resource management expertise. - Interpersonal awareness for effective communication within the team.
