AVP Macro TSA

Role Overview: As a Macro TSA AVP at Barclays Trade and Sales Assistant function, you will be a part of the Macro Mumbai TSA team, dedicated to ensuring the timely and accurate capture of contractual obligations on the Firm's systems across the Macro Business. Your role will involve entering and accepting the economic terms of trades into Trade Capture Systems, performing Risk Modifying Activities, and handling various Trade Capture activities to meet regulatory and internal control requirements. Your contribution will be crucial in maintaining a high degree of accuracy in trade capture for effective risk management and accurate record-keeping. Key Responsibilities: - Day to day interactions with Rates Sales & Trading and infrastructure departments such as Markets Operations, Technology, Finance, and Market Risk. - Coordinating trade execution by liaising with traders, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth transactions. - Updating trade records, transaction logs, and client databases accurately. - Preparing reports, presentations, and documentation to support sales and trading activities. - Monitoring market data and assisting in the analysis of financial information for trading decisions. - Processing trades, confirming orders, and resolving trade discrepancies. - Leading a team to perform complex tasks, setting objectives, coaching team members, and appraising performance. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in business/finance. - Excellent communication skills (oral/written). - Knowledge of Markets (IRS, FX & Bonds). - Ability to work efficiently under pressure and with superior attention to detail. - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel. - Understanding of the Front to Back lifecycle of a trade and its associated risks. - Experience in a high-volume House and client service environment. - Knowledge of Markets (FX, Rates). - Familiarity with Python & SQL is a plus. - Experience in primary support to FX, Rates Trading & Sales, trade capture, past trade activities, and position changes. - Ability to perform novation/termination on vendor platforms like Capitolis and Markitwire. - Proficiency in capturing quotes in Barclays systems, producing bespoke reports, and managing exceptions and queries. - Adherence to a right-first-time policy on all risk modifying activities.
