AVP Lending Operations

As an Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Lending Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing EMI servicing, collections, and partner operations within a fast-paced fintech environment. Your role will require exceptional execution skills, a strong emphasis on compliance, and the ability to streamline operational processes efficiently. Your main responsibilities will include building and optimizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), dashboards, and Management Information Systems (MIS) to ensure operational excellence. You will also be tasked with driving collection efficiency, implementing strategies for Non-Performing Asset (NPA) control and recovery, and ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines set by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and other relevant authorities. Collaboration with product, risk, and lending partners will be essential to enhance operational processes. Additionally, you will lead, mentor, and scale the operations and collections team to achieve organizational goals effectively. To qualify for this role, you should possess 5 to 9 years of experience in lending operations within the fintech, Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC), or banking sectors. A strong background in collections, credit operations, and reporting is required, along with experience in managing portfolios involving credit underwriting, risk analysis, and collections. Familiarity with digital lending and alternative underwriting models is advantageous, and candidates with an MBA, CA, or finance background are preferred. Key skills for this position include expertise in lending and collections, compliance management, MIS and reporting, process automation, partner relationship management, and team leadership. Experience in Education Lending will be given preference.
