As the Manager of Information Security Governance, Risk and Compliance (IS GRC) at Mashreq, your role is crucial in developing, managing, and executing Information Security Governance, Risk and Compliance to contribute strategically to the bank's success and enable the business and technology strategy to expand with secure and reliable service offerings. Your responsibilities include: - Navigating compliance complexities and supporting compliance with information security requirements across regions. - Ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information and IT assets with a proactive approach to building a resilient security posture. - Empowering a security-conscious culture within the organization. You will have overall responsibility for information security governance, risk and compliance management, supporting the Head of IS GRC to achieve the organization's security strategy and goals. As the deputy of the Head of IS GRC, you are expected to be a T-Shaped expert with proven skills in core capability areas of IS GRC such as Policy, Governance and Culture, Cyber Strategy & Program Management, and Risk and Compliance. You will actively develop your expertise and leadership in other capability areas to cover all GCR scope by rotating roles between IS GRC managers. Furthermore, you will lead a Center of Excellence in your primary focus area and support the growth of T-Shaped expertise in the COE. Your performance evaluation will be based on the positive impact on the bank in terms of risk reduction rather than the effort put in place. Qualifications Required: - Proven expertise in Information Security Governance, Risk and Compliance. - Strong leadership skills and ability to navigate compliance complexities. - Experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
