Job Description

We are looking for an AVP, Finance who will work closely with the VP, Finance (reporting directly to CEO) oversee all financial aspects of business and drive the firms financial strategy and planning.

What you will do:

  • The role will cover the control and management of the entire gamut of financial activities internally including audit, IFC and internal audit.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.
  • Assist and lead and manage financial department staff, including accounting and budgeting.
  • Timely and relevant financial and performance management information and analysis, monitoring performance against sales and expense objectives.
  • Leadership on the financial and business planning and forecasting, Ensure compliance with all finance and accounting regulations and laws.
  • Deep understanding of company internal project activities and their financial performance.
  • Partnering with the Departments business, products, and functional audit teams such as Compliance, Operations, Sales, Investments, as needed.
  • Act as the principal interface between the company and supervisors with respect to financial responsibility rules.
  • Manage supervisory examinations relating to financial/operational matters.
  • Analyze new products and specific transactions for financial regulatory control adherence and capital impact.
  • Provide interpretive guidance on financial regulatory matters to business units within the fi rm and to the VP Finance.
  • Assist in managing regulatory capital and risk weighted asset limits.
  • Assist in evaluating existing service lines and developing new business by analyzing the feasibility of programs, including managed contracts, and advise VP Finance on the financial prospects.

Criteria:

  • CA (1st attempts only).
  • Proven experience as Manager / AVP Finance or similar role.
  • Minimum 6 -8 years experience in a middle management role.
  • Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization.
  • Keen to understand the business model and implement various SEBI requirements from an operations perspective.
  • Solid knowledge of financial aspects and day-to-day accounting.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability, excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
