AVP - Data Science Lead

As an Assistant Vice President Data Science Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading our AI/ML initiatives and managing a team of expert data scientists. Your strong business acumen and technical expertise will drive data-driven decision-making and foster innovation within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, overseeing end-to-end ML model development and deployment. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify high-impact use cases and define the data science roadmap. - Translate business challenges into analytical solutions using ML, AI, and advanced statistical methods. - Supervise project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring scalability, efficiency, and quality. - Advocate for best practices in data science, model governance, and MLOps. - Support team building activities including hiring, career development, and performance management. Required Skills & Experience: - 10-16 years of experience in Data Science, AI/ML, or Advanced Analytics, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role. - Proficient in Python/R, SQL, and major ML frameworks with hands-on expertise. - Sound knowledge of techniques like regression, classification, decision trees, clustering, neural networks, and NLP. - Demonstrated ability to apply data science to business problems such as churn prediction, LTV modeling, and personalization. - Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving abilities. - Bachelors/Masters degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
