AVP - Business Continuity and Incident Management

As an Assistant Vice President - Business Continuity and Incident Management at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a robust BCIM Program for GSC Operations, ensuring effective implementation of Operating Instructions and framework documents on continuity, de-risking, recovery desking, BIA, contingency plans, and exercising. Your responsibilities will include promoting business resilience, arresting concentration risk, and mitigating concentration hot spots. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain a robust BCIM Program for GSC Operations with effective implementation of Operating Instructions and framework documents - Promote business resilience, arrest concentration risk, and mitigate concentration hot spots - Engage with key stakeholders to understand challenges and anticipate emerging risks - Ensure self-growth to improve productivity and contribute to the team's growth - Establish a robust contingency plan covering all functions migrated from various HSBC Group companies - Continually reassess operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business - Adhere to all internal controls, operating instructions, and regulatory requirements - Effectively plan, manage projects, and maintain customer relationships to meet migration plans for GSCs worldwide Qualifications Required: - Education: 3 Years Degree or above - Experience: 5 years in Operations / IT or any other risk function with at least 3 years in a team management role - Certification Recommended / Preferred: Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or equivalent, CPBCM from DRII, Certified Business Continuity (CBCI) or equivalent from BCI HSBC is committed to providing a workplace that values all employees and fosters continuous professional development, flexible working, and opportunities for growth within an inclusive and diverse environment.
