As an AVP, Analytics Product Insights & Optimization at Synchrony, you will play a vital role in delivering strategic thought leadership and data-driven insights for multiple Synchrony products and capabilities within the Product Insights and Optimization teams. Your responsibilities will include partnering with the India lead to execute the analytics roadmap, providing strategic analytics across consumer and commercial-facing products, leading analytic projects from scoping to delivery, identifying and executing analytic process improvement opportunities, supporting strategic initiatives, establishing strong partnerships with stakeholders, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to internal initiatives and projects. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with the India lead to execute on the analytics roadmap & vision for the Product Analytics and Consulting team within IAH - Provide strategic analytics across consumer and commercial-facing Synchrony products, evaluating and optimizing product features, pricing, and markets - Lead analytic projects/programs around product launches, optimization, and impact assessment - Identify and execute analytic process improvement opportunities - Support strategic initiatives and analytic solutions end-to-end - Establish strong partnerships with stakeholders - Mentor junior team members and assist in hiring for the team - Contribute to internal initiatives and perform special projects as assigned Qualifications Required: - Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any other quantitative streams with 4+ years of relevant analytics/data science experience - Proficiency in SQL/SAS, BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), marketing analytics, and building analytics for driving strategy - Experience in large-scale data analysis, data mining, statistical modeling, and MS-Excel/MS-PowerPoint - Strong written/oral communication and stakeholder management skills Desired Skills: - Superior thought leadership and solutioning abilities - Experience in storytelling and presenting to senior leaders - Innovative mindset with knowledge of the latest tools and trends in data analytics and machine learning - Experience with Python, R, and forecasting techniques The role requires a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any other quantitative streams with 4+ years of hands-on relevant analytics/data science experience. The work timings are flexible between 06:00 AM Eastern Time to 11:30 AM Eastern Time with the option to work remotely.
