The center has strong capabilities in the areas of structural analysis, loads, aerodynamics, avionics software design and testing, system simulation, digital mock-up and system installation etc. In the avionics software team, we perform end to end software development activities starting from high level requirements definition to the certification of the software applying product line technology, component based development, formal methods etc.

Role:

Senior Avionics Platform Software Verification: The individual will be responsible for Verification and Validation of Safety critical Real Time Embedded Platform software for the avionics domain conforming to DO 178 A/B standard. The individual is expected to provide technical leadership and should have working exposure to complete Software Verification Activities.

Responsibilities:

The individual will be responsible for performing below activities for Avionics Platform Software:

-Defining the Verification Strategy.

-Developing the Test Environment.

-Preparation of Software Verification Cases and Procedures

-Execution of Functional and performance tests to ensure compliance to the

software requirements

- Analysis of the test results and Software Verification Report update.

Required Skill\Experience

Should have 7 to 10 Yrs of experience in Avionics Platform Software Verification & Integration Activities Activities.

Must have skills: -

Hands on experience in

- Verification/Integration of Platform Software/ Basic Software(BSW) for Avionics Software Platform.

- Experience on Verification of Embedded System and related Hardware Software layers (Processor Memory Peripherals, RTOS, Middleware, Device Drivers)

- Experience on Verification of Embedded System and any Avionics RTOS on ARINC 653(A653) and/or Time Critical Personality.

-Experience on Verification of Data Loading Function for Avionics Platform Software (A615A Standard)

-Experience on Verification of Continuous Monitoring and Safety Test Function for Avionics Platform Software

-Experience on Verification of Maintenance related functions for Avionics Platform Software (Event Memorization, Resource BITE, Platform System Partition )

- Configuration and Change Management

- DO178c for Level A/B Software Development

-Working with global teams (multisite) resolving complex issues

-Knowledge about Verification standards .

-Strong interpersonal skills

Good to have skills:

- Project Management skills

- Exposure to Product Line Architecture.

- Exposure to Client Server Architecture.

- Exposure to Certification Audits

- Exposure to Continuous Integration and related SW Life Cycle Tools(Git,Jenkins,JIRA,Robot Framework)
