Aveva E3D Administrator

As an Aveva E3D Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the Paper and Pulp, Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Petroleum industries. Your responsibilities will include: - Expertly creating catalogues and specifications in the E3D environment. - Installing, configuring, and maintaining Aveva E3D and related software applications. - Developing and maintaining custom PML macros and scripts to automate routine modeling tasks and enhance E3D efficiency. - Implementing automated report generation, tagging, and clash detection workflows using PML programming. - Managing project setup, administration, and database maintenance. - Ensuring seamless system integration with other engineering tools. - Demonstrating a strong understanding of piping, structural, and equipment modeling. - Overseeing user and access management. - Participating in Service Level Agreement (SLA) activities with service providers and clients. - Handling license and database management, backup, and restoration procedures. - Customizing templates, reports, and drawing outputs. - Providing user support to address design inconsistencies. - Modifying Piping Specifications and Catalogues. - Troubleshooting E3D issues and mentoring/training junior team members. - Engaging in all customization activities and generating reports from E3D, including the creation of drawing templates. You should hold a BE/B Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field and have 8-15 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with tools like Aveva E3D and Navisworks is essential for this role.
