To excel in this role, you should possess the following experience and qualifications: - A Masters or Bachelors Degree, preferably in Computer Science/Engineering - Strong application development experience with Oracle PL/SQL in banking applications/products (Avaloq knowledge is advantageous) - Experience in a large IT organization supporting mission-critical complex systems with a focus on batch processing - Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL/Avaloq script, UNIX, Agile Central, SVN, and familiarity with banking products - Knowledge of software development lifecycle and experience with Avaloq or other core banking solutions Desirable skills include familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Service Now, Agile, in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Your primary responsibilities will involve: - Designing, developing, and enhancing software using various engineering methodologies to provide business and technology capabilities - Collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers to define software requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives - Participating in code reviews, promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing - Staying informed about industry technology trends and contributing to technical excellence within the organization - Implementing secure coding practices and effective unit testing to ensure reliable and optimized software solutions In this role based in Pune, you will be expected to adhere to secure coding practices, promote code quality, and actively contribute to technical excellence within the organization.
