The ideal candidate should have 3-7 years of experience in Design & Development of Automotive Seating Systems, Sub systems, and components (Seat complete / Structures / Mechanisms / Plastics / Foams). You should have a Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Production / Automobile / Industrial Engineering. It is essential to possess knowledge about sheet metal manufacturing processes / plastic moulding processes as per the field of work. Proficiency in CATIA V5 and / or UG NX (Part modelling and/or Surface modelling & Drawing) is required. You should have knowledge of GD & T & ASME Y 14.5 standards and Tolerance stack up studies. Exposure to Data management using PLM tools and Automotive Regulations for Interiors is preferred. Exposure to processes like DVP, DFMEA, DFM, Testing, and validation will be an added advantage. Good written & oral communication skills are a must-have for this role.
