Key Responsibilities

Design & Development

• Design and develop

  Automotive Interior & Trim Components

  such as:
• Crash Pad, Connection Duct, Glove Box, Driver Panel, Instrument Panel, Side Covers, Cluster Fascia, Shrouds.
• Create

  3D parametric models, surfaces, and drawings

  in CATIA V5 with complete GD&T.
• Conduct

  concept design, B-Side development

  , and incorporate

  manufacturing tool requirements

  .
• Ensure models meet

  tangency, gap

  , and client craftsmanship standards.

Engineering & Technical Expertise

• Strong working knowledge of

  GD&T

  ,

  DFMEA

  ,

  DFM/DFA/DFS

  ,

  DVP

  , and

  tolerance stack-up

  .
• Understanding of

  ECE, EEC, FMVSS, ADR

  regulatory standards.
• Basic knowledge of

  plastic molding

  , sliders/lifters.
• Perform

  part feasibility

  , draft checks, parting surface creation, and solid body closure.
• Benchmarking of vehicles for

  features, weight

  cost optimization

Collaboration & Execution

• Work closely with global engineering, design, and tooling teams.
• Provide alternative design solutions aligned with design intent and engineering constraints.
• Ensure all drawings and part check sheets are completed with accuracy and compliance.
