Automation Testing (API)

Key Responsibilities

API Testing

Perform API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools such as
SoapUI
.
Vali
request/response payloads
,
headers
,
status codes
, and
error messages
.
Execute and maintain
API automation scripts
using
RestAssured
or
Postman/Newman Collections
.
Ensure API performance, reliability, and functional behavior across integrated systems.

Database Testing

Perform database validation using
SQL queries
to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Vali data flow between multiple systems and backend components.
Identify and troubleshoot backend data issues through detailed SQL analysis.

Functional & Integration Testing

Participate in
functional
,
regression
, and
integration testing
for backend modules.
Vali server-side workflows, business rules, and background processes.

Collaboration & Issue Resolution

Work closely with developers, analysts, and cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues.
Provide detailed defect reporting and work with teams for timely resolution.
Contribute to improving backend testing processes and automation coverage.
