Automation Tester

As an IT Quality Intermediate Analyst at Citigroup, your role involves supporting initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production. You will work with technology project managers, UAT professionals, and users to design and implement appropriate testing scripts/plans. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting a variety of moderately complex process monitoring, product evaluation, and audit assignments. You will report issues and make recommendations for solutions. - Ensuring project standards and procedures are fully documented and followed throughout the software development life cycle. You will make recommendations for enhanced documentation. - Monitoring products and processes for conformance to standards and procedures. - Documenting findings, performing preliminary root cause analyses, and providing recommended improvements. - Verifying traceability in project work products. - Gathering, maintaining, and creating reports on quality metrics. - Exhibiting a good understanding of procedures and concepts within your technical area and a basic knowledge of these elements in other areas. - Making evaluative judgments based on factual information and resolving problems by identifying and selecting solutions through acquired technical experience. - Providing informal guidance to new team members and performing other duties and functions as assigned. Qualifications: - 4+ years of Quality Assurance (QA) experience in the Financial Service industry preferred - Proficiency in Automation Testing, Selenium, and Java - Experience in requirement reviews, ability to identify, communicate, and document discrepancies - Understanding of QA within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies - Knowledge of Quality Processes - Demonstrated logical analysis skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities - Proven ability to work to deadlines - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - Experience in defining, designing, and executing test cases Education: - Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer, providing career opportunities to all qualified interested applicants.,
