Automation Tester

As an Automation Test Engineer with 3.5 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality software delivery through designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts. Your hands-on experience in automation frameworks, scripting languages, and continuous integration tools will be key to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or Cypress. - Collaborate with developers and QA team to understand requirements and build effective test strategies. - Perform regression, smoke, and integration testing on web and mobile applications. - Implement and maintain test automation frameworks. - Use CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps to integrate test scripts into build pipelines. - Log defects clearly and follow through on resolution with developers. - Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to test plans and strategy documentation. Required Technical Skills: - Automation Tools: Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or similar - Languages: Java, Python, or JavaScript (at least one) - Frameworks: Page Object Model (POM), BDD (Cucumber), or keyword-driven frameworks - Build & CI Tools: Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Git Version Control Git/GitHub or Bitbucket - Bug Tracking: JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar - Test Management: TestRail, Zephyr, or qTest - Knowledge of REST API testing (Postman, RestAssured), SQL basics.
