About this Role:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Developer with 510 years of expertise in Java, Selenium, and open-source technologies. This role is based in Pune and involves leading the development and maintenance of a scalable automation framework used across multiple teams. The individual will be responsible for framework transition, roadmap creation, and delivery planning, while working within a diverse technology stack and collaborating with stakeholders across business domains.

What you will do:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automation frameworks.
• Drive framework transition and define the roadmap and delivery strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure framework adoption and scalability.
• Work with technologies including Java, Python, JavaScript, Groovy, Selenium, Concordion, Spock, Junit, and Mockito.
• Utilise tools such as Git, Linux, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, IntelliJ, and X-Ray for JIRA.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure using Jenkins DSL, ArgoCD, and GitOps.
• Handle database operations using SQL, Oracle, JDBC, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Apply networking protocols and API technologies including REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and OpenAPI.
• Operate within containerised environments using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and AWS.
• Support legacy systems and agent-facing applications with German-language interfaces.
• Train and support less technical users and engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Continuously improve and refactor systems with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.

Who you are:

• A skilled developer with advanced knowledge of Java and test automation tools.
• Experienced in working with large, diverse system stacks including legacy systems.
• Comfortable navigating German-language documentation and supporting German interfaces.
• Proficient in CI/CD, containerisation, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• An effective communicator with strong written and spoken English skills.
• A collaborative team member who supports others and adapts to varied business domains.
• A proactive individual who takes ownership and drives continuous improvement.
