As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining test automation suites using Visual Studio, C#, Selenium, and Playwright. You will collaborate closely with the development and QA teams to understand requirements, identify automation opportunities, and ensure high-quality standards are met. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining test automation suites using Visual Studio, C#, Selenium, and Playwright. - Collaborating with the development and QA teams to understand requirements and identify areas for automation. - Creating and executing automated tests for web and mobile applications, ensuring high-quality standards are met. - Working on integrating automated test scripts into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing. - Analyzing test results, identifying defects, and providing detailed reports to the development teams. - Utilizing SQL Server for writing and executing queries to validate data and perform database testing. - Troubleshooting and debugging test automation failures and working with developers to resolve issues. - Continuously improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the test automation framework. In terms of technical skills, you should have: - Strong experience with Visual Studio and C# for test automation development. - In-depth knowledge and experience with Selenium and Playwright for web automation. - Strong understanding of SQL Server and experience with writing SQL queries for database validation. - Experience in integrating test automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred skills for this role include: - Experience in API testing and using tools like Postman or RestAssured. - Knowledge of other test automation tools or frameworks. - Familiarity with cloud-based environments and testing in the cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure). This role requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining automated test suites using Visual Studio, C#, Selenium, and Playwright.
