Job Description

As aQA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for
functional
,
regression
, and
performance
testing of the iXBRL solution.
Implement test automation frameworks and tools to optimize the testing process.
Execute automated tests, analyze results, and identify defects or inconsistencies.
Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve testing issues.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews).
Document test cases, plans and results to ensure clear traceability and maintainability.
Continuously assess and improve test strategies, tools, and processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree
in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
8 to 12 yearsof experience in aQA Automation Engineerrole or similar.
3+Years of experience inCypress
Proficiency in test automation tools likePostman.
Strong knowledge ofTypeScriptfor writing automated test scripts.
Solid understanding ofsoftware testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Experience withAgilemethodologies and tools (e.g.,Jira,Confluence).
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Familiarity withXBRLandiXBRLfinancial reporting standards is a plus.
