Automation Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements and design specifications.
• Perform smoke testing, functional testing, Integration testing, system testing, compatibility testing
• Responsible for Accessibility Testing and front-end testing of the application.
• Write/Review test cases for content, coverage, and adherence to department standards.
• Active participation in Defect Management in JIRA and Daily Status Reports.
• Active participation in Daily Scrum meetings and Defect Report meetings.
• Participate in Sprint planning meetings, sprint review and retrospective meetings.
• Develop automation framework, scripts using Selenium Web driver on a need basis.
• Develop feature areas in collaboration with software engineers.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Test Engineer / Automation Test Engineer.
• Should have hands-on experience with Web App testing.
• Should be strong in testing processes.
• Computer Science / Engineering background candidates are preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile.
• Nice to have Selenium web driver automation skills.
• Nice to have experience with tools like JIRA, Rally, Bugzilla, Mantis, Test Link, etc.
• Experience with Windows and Linux environments.
• Good Knowledge of MySQL database should be capable of writing queries.
• Analytical and questioning skills to develop an understanding of actual process performance
