Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer with experience in building and maintaining automated testing frameworks using Java Selenium or JavaScript-based frameworks like WebDriver IO, Protractor, and Cypress. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, experience in automation testing, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using Java Selenium or JavaScript-based frameworks like WebDriver IO, Protractor, and Cypress
• Work with low-code platforms like Leap work and Trecentist
• Write and execute automated tests to validate the functionality of web applications and APIs
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize test cases for automation
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with automation frameworks and tests
• Work with the QA team to ensure automation testing is integrated into the overall testing process
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior automation engineers on best practices for automation testing

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in automation testing
• Strong experience with Java Selenium or JavaScript-based frameworks like WebDriver IO, Protractor, and Cypress
• Experience with low-code platforms like Leap work and Trecentist
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, and Mocha
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or Circles
• Experience with BDD/Cucumber
• Knowledge of Python
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and working in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
• Exposure to API automation tools like Postman or Rest Assured
• Experience in cloud testing environments (AWS, Azure)
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certifications
• Prior experience in leading automation strategy or frameworks at a team/project level
