Job Title: Senior Automation Engineer Role: Senior Automation Engineer Number of Positions: 15 Years of Experience: 6 8 years Location: Chennai / Bangalore Shifts: 2 – 10 pm Mode: Work from Office Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer with experience in building and maintaining automated testing frameworks using Java Selenium or JavaScript-based frameworks like WebDriver IO, Protractor, and Cypress. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, experience in automation testing, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using Java Selenium or JavaScript-based frameworks like WebDriver IO, Protractor, and Cypress Work with low-code platforms like Leap work and Trecentist Write and execute automated tests to validate the functionality of web applications and APIs Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize test cases for automation Identify and troubleshoot issues with automation frameworks and tests Work with the QA team to ensure automation testing is integrated into the overall testing process Provide leadership and guidance to junior automation engineers on best practices for automation testing Required Skills: Minimum of 6 years of experience in automation testing Strong experience with Java Selenium or JavaScript-based frameworks like WebDriver IO, Protractor, and Cypress Experience with low-code platforms like Leap work and Trecentist Experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, and Mocha Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or Circles Experience with BDD/Cucumber Knowledge of Python Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes Experience with Agile development methodologies and working in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Desirable Skills: Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) Exposure to API automation tools like Postman or Rest Assured Experience in cloud testing environments (AWS, Azure) ISTQB or equivalent testing certifications Prior experience in leading automation strategy or frameworks at a team/project level
