HDFC JD Summary for R1 and R2 Panels Web + API Automation JD : We are not expecting anyone to be expert in all areas. Logical person who is able to do things 80% would work for us. Selection Criteria : 3.5 and above out of 5. Framework Enhancement/Implementation : Good to have, but should be able to explain the framework used for Automation API Automation : Mandatory ¢ Web Automation : Mandatory ¢ Programming : Mandatory ¢ BDD: Good to have ¢ Debugging : Mandatory ¢ Communication Skills : Average and above ¢ Confidence : High Detailed JR 1. Project Explanation (Mandatory): Understand the depth by asking end to end questions like a. Ecommerce Understand do they know how to create their test data like new product, inventory buckets etc. b. Banking i. Do they understand calculations? Like loan, credit card etc ii. Or they are just doing UI Validations? iii. Do they understand Payment Have they used simulators? c. Health Care i. Do they understand how to onboard a doctor? ii. How to book appointment and what if scenarios, holiday, leave, doctor not available etc. All negative cases d. Logisitic i. Do they understand fulfilment types? ii. Do they understand how stock in and stock out happens 2. API Functional (Mandatory): Understand from project explanation whether they have done UI Functional or API Functional a. API Functional : Understand whether they have done only response code validation or they know how to test all features with API 3. Framework (Good to have) a. Explain Framework structure b. Explain how you will debug if there is any failure? 4. API Automation (Mandatory) a. Ask them to pick sample APIs from project and then ask them to write script in Notepad. b. If they are not able to pick any sample API then guide them with 2 APIs and ask for chaining of API Automation c. Understand kind of Validations they are able to do i. Schema ii. Dynamic Response iii. Passing one response to other API iv. Etc 5. Java/Python Programming (Mandatory) a. Array + String Programs 6. Selenium (Mandatory) a. Locators b. Loggers c. Dynamic elements d. etc Notes: These are reference questions.
