Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement control logic, PLC/DCS programming, and SCADA configurations for pulp & paper systems.

Prepare and review I/O lists, logic diagrams, control philosophy, and instrument data sheets.

Integrate process equipment such as screens, refiners, cleaners, pulpers, thickeners, approach flow systems, etc.

Troubleshoot automation and instrumentation issues across pulp & paper machines.

Coordinate with process, mechanical, and electrical teams for project engineering.

Conduct FAT/SAT, testing, loop checks, and system commissioning.

Provide technical support during installation, start-up, and optimizationtraveling to customer sites when required.

What Were Looking For

B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or relevant engineering field.

5–6 years of experience in automation within the pulp & paper industry or similar heavy process industries will be preffebale

Hands-on experience with Siemens / Allen-Bradley / ABB / Delta PLCs, DCS systems, and SCADA platforms.

Strong understanding of pulping, stock preparation, approach flow, and paper machine automation.

Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Profibus, Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, etc.).

Good troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.

Ability and willingness to travel for project execution and site support
