As an Automation Engineer specialist, you will play a crucial role in a fast-growing global business and development team. Your responsibilities will include creating and implementing automation test strategies aligned with project requirements, building and maintaining reusable automation frameworks, identifying and documenting software defects, and providing guidance to junior team members on automation best practices. **Responsibilities:** - Hands-on automation Engineer specialist position in a fast-growing global business and development team - Focus on automation test deliverables - Create and implement automation test strategies aligned with project requirements - Build and maintain reusable automation frameworks - Identify and document software defects and work closely with development teams to resolve them - Provide guidance to junior QA team members on automation best practices **Job Qualifications:** - 4-8 years of experience in Automation engineering - Proficiency in Selenium, Cucumber, Regression testing, and Scripting - Certification in software testing such as ISTQB is preferred **Job Skills:** - Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and agile principles - Familiarity with SQL and database management systems - Proficiency in Python or Java programming language - Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or similar tools - Knowledge in TDD and BDD, experience in BDD automation framework is preferred - Familiarity with bug tracking systems like Jira and Bugzilla - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Ability to work independently, multi-task, take ownership, and drive strategy Join us at Citi and be a part of a dynamic team that empowers you to grow both personally and professionally.
