Job Description

Role & responsibilities

To prepare NC programming for Assembly commodities.
To prepare NC set-up sheet with respect to application.
To prepare tool layouts with respect to the application.
To select appropriate Tool holders as per the application.
To control NC program Configuration and propose mistake-proofing.
To Prove-out the cutting tool selection basis RPM & Feed rate with respect to the material and program requirements.
To perform process related best-practices related to NC programming. To perform tool life analysis and propose improvements to enhance tool life.
To communicate effectively and perform training to the production operator(s) and team members with respect to the operation.
To prepare process checklist(s) with respect to the application and continually improve such documentation.
To support overall process improvement in respective commodity plants.
To perform tool life analysis and propose improvements to enhance tool life.
Project monitoring, tracking and updating the status to the management.
To review technical proposals and finalizing the supplier.
