Automation Edge Developer

As an Automation Edge Developer with 4+ years of experience in Java and the banking domain, your role will involve designing and implementing scalable automation solutions to streamline key banking operations. You will work on integrating legacy and modern systems to enhance efficiency. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, building, and deploying automation workflows using AutomationEdge for various banking operations - Customizing Java-based plugins to extend AutomationEdge functionality - Analyzing banking processes to identify automation opportunities in areas such as loan processing, customer onboarding, KYC verification, cheque truncation, UTR number reconciliation, SWIFT message handling, credit card application processing, account closure, and dormant account automation - Integrating AutomationEdge with core banking systems, CRM tools, ticketing platforms, and third-party APIs - Managing bot lifecycle, exception handling, queue management, and logging - Collaborating with functional teams to define automation rules and ensure governance - Performing UAT, testing, deployment, and documentation of developed workflows - Ensuring all workflows comply with regulatory and data security guidelines To be successful in this role, you should have: - 4+ years of hands-on experience with the AutomationEdge platform - Proficiency in Java programming and developing custom plugins for AutomationEdge - Strong understanding of banking processes and compliance workflows - Experience with SQL/Oracle DB, API integrations, and Excel/CSV automation - Hands-on experience with ITSM tools and integrations - Knowledge of workflow optimization, exception handling, logging, and performance tuning - Familiarity with RPA best practices and process design documents Preferred qualifications include: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - Automation Edge Developer Certification (preferred) - Knowledge of other automation/RPA tools like UiPath, Power Automate, or AA - Understanding of the ITIL framework, InfoSec compliance, and audit processes in the banking sector Soft skills required for this role: - Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - High attention to detail and process documentation - Agile, proactive, and able to work under minimal supervision Additional advantage: - Experience with hyperautomation platforms or COE models in banking - Familiarity with Indian banking regulatory norms The compensation for this role is competitive and based on experience.
