Automated Tester API Automation, Basic Java - BLR

Key Skills and Expertise:

Technical & Behavioral:

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance engineer working within Agile environments.
• Strong knowledge of automation testing frameworks, including Selenium, Cucumber-Serenity, and API testing tools.
• Hands-on experience with web service testing tools such as REST Assured and Insomnia.
• Proficient in database testing, particularly with SQL and CockroachDB.
• Competent in at least one programming or scripting language.
• Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking and test management is essential.
• Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle, encompassing requirements analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, troubleshooting, and release planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with various stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with order management systems, CICs, and managerial QA roles is an advantage.
