AutoCAD Engineer – Fire Protection

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Engineer with 2D drafting expertise to create and manage technical drawings for fire protection systems, including fire hydrants, sprinkler systems, and fire alarms. The role involves interpreting MEP, architectural, and structural plans, ensuring compliance with fire safety codes and NFPA standards, and collaborating with site and engineering teams to deliver accurate and efficient designs. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and clear AutoCAD drawings for fire protection and fire detection systems based on project specifications. Interpret MEP, architectural, and structural drawings to integrate fire safety designs. Modify and update drawings based on feedback from engineers or site teams. Maintain drawing logs, revisions, and drawing registers. Ensure designs comply with local fire codes, NFPA standards, and other applicable regulations. Skills : - AutoCAD 2D Drafting, Fire Protection System Design, MEP Drawing Interpretation, 23 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting, preferably in fire safety or MEP services or Piping design, Prepare accurate and clear AutoCAD drawings for fire protection and fire detection systems based on project specifications.
