Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate 2D drawings and 3D models of plans, elevations, sections and details using CAD. Convert architects’ sketches, concepts and mark‑ups into detailed working drawings and construction documents. Ensure drawings follow relevant building byelaws, codes and office standards for line weights, layers, and annotations. Coordinate architectural drawings with structural and services layouts and update drawings when design changes occur. Take site measurements and update/as‑built drawings where required. Prepare area statements, basic quantity take‑offs and drawing issue registers as instructed by project architects. Skills And Requirements Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) Good understanding of architectural and civil drawings, scales, dimensions, sections and detailing. Basic knowledge of building materials, construction methods and local regulations. Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, organize drawing files and meet project deadlines.
