Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Draughtsman with strong expertise in steel structure detailing and AutoCAD drafting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing foundation and footing drawings, structural layouts, and fabrication details for industrial and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for steel structures, including plans, elevations, sections, and fabrication details.
• Create foundation and footing drawings, including layout, reinforcement detailing, and construction notes.
• Coordinate with structural engineers to understand design intent and incorporate technical specifications.
• Revise and update drawings based on engineer/architect feedback.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Maintain organized drawing records and documentation.
• Work closely with project teams to support smooth project execution.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/B.tech in Civil Engineering
• 2–5 years of experience as a Draughtsman in steel structure projects (adjust as needed).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of other drafting software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of steel structural detailing, joints, connections, and fabrication drawings.
• Experience in foundation and footing drawings for steel structures.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Knowledge of STAAD, Tekla, or other structural tools.
• Experience with industrial buildings, warehouses, pipe racks, or equipment foundations.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹32,688.13 per month
