AutoCAD Draftsman/woman

As a Draftswoman (CAD Technician) with proficiency in Excel and administrative skills, your primary responsibilities will include technical drafting and design tasks such as preparing detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD software. In addition, you will be required to maintain Bill of Materials (BOM), cost estimates, and project trackers in Excel, as well as generate reports to track project progress. You will play a crucial role in quote preparation and client proposals by assisting in preparing quotes, invoices, and project bids using Excel. Collaboration with accounting and finance teams to ensure timely invoicing will also be a part of your duties. Furthermore, you will be responsible for organizing project files, drawings, and financial documents for efficient documentation and file management. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience as a draftswoman, CAD technician, or in a similar position. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, etc., is essential. Advanced Excel skills including knowledge of formulas, data analysis, and macros/VBA will be advantageous. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines effectively are key attributes that will contribute to your success in this role.
