As an AutoCAD Draftsman at Bluemoon Construction in Chennai, you will play a crucial role in the design and engineering team focused on residential projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Creating precise and accurate AutoCAD drawings for residential construction projects. - Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop detailed design and construction drawings. - Preparing site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and other necessary construction documents. - Revising and updating drawings based on client and project feedback. - Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. - Assisting in the preparation of project specifications and technical documentation. - Maintaining organized records of all drafts, drawings, and revisions. - Troubleshooting and resolving drawing issues in collaboration with the design and construction teams. Qualifications required for this role include: - Proven experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman, preferably in residential construction. - Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting/design software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp). - Strong understanding of residential architectural and engineering drawings, building codes, and construction documentation. - Attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality, accurate drafts. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. - High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in Drafting, Architecture, or Engineering preferred.
