Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Audit Assistant with CMA qualification to support our audit and finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in conducting internal and external audits, verifying financial records, and ensuring compliance with statutory and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and executing internal and statutory audits
• Verify accounting entries, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations
• Support audit documentation, working papers, and reports
• Identify audit issues and assist in preparing observations and recommendations
• Coordinate with accounts and operations teams for audit requirements
• Assist in stock audits, process audits, and cost audits where applicable
• Support senior auditors during fieldwork and reporting

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of accounting, auditing, and cost management
• Understanding of GST, Income Tax, and statutory compliance (basic level)
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally/ERP preferred)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and documentation skills

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• CMA Qualified
• Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of audit experience
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
• Willingness to travel for audit assignments, if required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
