Audio Visual Tier II Support Field Technician

As an AV Tier 2 Tech or Escalations Technician II at EOS IT Solutions, you will be responsible for supporting Tier 2 video conferencing equipment and providing technical support to a diverse range of clients. Your role will involve resolving issues related to AV/VC equipment failure, software configurations, and conducting root cause analyses to enhance service quality. The position requires Level-2 support and may involve up to 50% travel. Key responsibilities include on-site technical support to resolve issues in rooms, configuration of endpoints and infrastructure, conducting room audits, performing preventative maintenance, identifying defective equipment, and providing solutions. You will also be responsible for user acceptance testing, software upgrades, client support, de-escalating technical issues, and maintaining strong partnerships with various stakeholders. Additionally, you will provide white glove technical support to C-suite executives, high-level management, and offer VC-focused support for high-profile events. To be considered for this role, you must have experience in Audio Visual troubleshooting, maintenance, and signal flow. Essential criteria include self-motivation, creativity in problem-solving, technical skills in Cisco, Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Shure, Clearone, QSC, and other AV/VC hardware, ability to read and understand plans, strong interpersonal skills, willingness to learn and adapt, teamwork, critical thinking, flexibility, and physical capability for tasks such as lifting heavy objects and maintenance work.
