Job Description

As an Audio Visual Executive, your primary responsibility is to provide support for the AV conference spaces and systems. You will offer technical and general assistance to ensure the proper availability and functionality of AV spaces and equipment, as well as rapid-response troubleshooting expertise. Key Responsibilities: - Provide white-glove technical support for internal, customer, and C-level executive meetings - Proactively identify potential AV issues and provide solutions to client concerns or needs - Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of video conferencing services like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or WebEx - Offer technical expertise and guidance for the deployment and operation of Crestron Flex and Polycom VTC codec - Proactively monitor and manage the conference room booking system, assisting customers with booking different rooms when necessary - Review standard setup specifications for meetings and conferences - Contact clients to ensure proper setup of configurable rooms per specifications, including table layout, airwall opening and closure, and technology configuration - Ensure cleanliness, temperature, and functionality of conference rooms - Utilize electronics troubleshooting skills to determine and localize problems - Maintain conference room standards for signage, equipment, and seating - Respond promptly to client requests and ensure consumables are available - Provide support for audio-video systems and media control systems - Troubleshoot and maintain audio/video devices and associated wiring, putting in tickets with the IT department responsible for AV technology - Perform routine and proactive testing to ensure equipment functionality before use - Conduct alignment and calibration procedures for audio and video devices - Communicate the need for maintenance or repair of audio-visual equipment - Perform regular maintenance, software and firmware updates, preventive maintenance, and routine repairs to ensure uninterrupted service of all conference room equipment - Some commissioning and programming tasks - Any other duties and tasks assigned Qualifications Required: - 2 years of experience in a client/customer service-oriented environment, preferably in a corporate conference center - 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office in an office environment - Familiarity with integrated AV systems - Ability to learn new software as required for the position - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities - Must always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor - Experience with a hotel, corporate conference center, or large enterprise systems Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related experience OR Diploma with 4+ years of related experience - Ability to perform under pressure and manage time effectively - Experience with EMS or any web-based conference room scheduling system preferred - CTS Certification (preferred) - Crestron, AMX, or Extron Certifications (preferred) - DSP Programming (BIAMP, QCS) (preferred),
