Athletics Coach

Job Details

• Master’s degree in Physical Education / Sports Management.

• Prior experience coaching at school / university / district / state level

• Exposure to strength & conditioning programs, sports science integration

• Knowledge of first aid and sports injury management

• Design and implement training programs for athletics (track & field)

• Identify, nurture, and develop student-athlete talent

• Plan and supervise practice sessions, drills, and conditioning

• Ensure athlete participation in inter-university and state / national competitions

• Collaborate with faculty, physiotherapists, and strength trainers

• Maintain discipline, motivation, and holistic development of athletes

• Track performance metrics and submit progress reports

• Technical expertise across track & field disciplines

• Strong communication and mentoring ability

• Athlete management and team-building skills

• Event preparation and competition readiness

• Time management and organizational skills

• Experience in coaching and mentoring women athletes, with sensitivity to their specific physical, psychological, and social needs in a competitive sports environment

• Event management and tournament organization

• Knowledge of athlete nutrition, recovery, and psychological readiness

• Data-driven training analysis and video-based feedback

• Sports psychology knowledge

• Networking with Universities, AFI, selectors, and event organizers
