Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Astrophotographer based in Dwarka. The role involves capturing high-quality photographs of celestial objects and phenomena using advanced imaging tools and techniques. The astrophotographer will perform post-processing of images, manage photography equipment, plan observation sessions based on astronomical events, and collaborate with team members for research and creative projects. Maintaining the condition of equipment and ensuring accurate data collection are also essential aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Expertise in photography and image post-processing techniques, with proficiency in tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom.
• Knowledge of astronomy and experience working with telescopes, cameras, and other astrophotography equipment.
• Strong research and analytical skills for planning observation sessions and understanding celestial events.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines and coordinate sessions effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Previous experience in astrophotography or related fields is a plus.
