Assurance Supervisor 1 - Life Sciences

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Assurance Supervisor 1 to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in accounting and audit, with a strong background in life sciences. Roles and Responsibility Provide timely, high-quality client service as part of engagement teams serving large and small companies. Develop strong working relationships with clients and internal teams to understand and solve complex business challenges. Perform audit procedures and tests in accordance with the RSM audit methodology based on the overall audit plan. Identify areas of risk and accounting and auditing issues, discussing them with engagement teams to resolve problems. Prepare audit reports and management letters, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Supervise and develop training for associates, taking ownership of tasks and deliverables to ensure service excellence. Demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving, initiative, and timely completion of work. Job Requirements Qualified CA/ACCA/Licensed CPA with 4-7 years of relevant experience in an accounting and audit-related field, specifically in the life sciences industry. Possess strong technical skills in accounting, including GAAP and GAAS, along with advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas). Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with international clients and US-based engagement teams. Demonstrate strong multi-tasking and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Have a strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
