Asst Manager/Deputy Manager - Supply Chain Management

Role Overview: Continental Hospital in Gachibowli, Hyderabad is seeking a candidate for the position of AM/DM General Purchase. The role involves leading and managing the hospital's general and medical purchase functions to ensure procurement efficiency, cost-effectiveness, compliance, and timely availability of critical supplies and materials. The ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of hospital experience in procurement. Key Responsibility: - Manage procurement for both non-medical and medical categories, including printing stationery, biomedical spares, engineering consumables, housekeeping items, consignment materials, and implants. - Coordinate with clinical teams for timely implant availability and maintain vendor challan records, usage tracking, and GRN posting. - Ensure compliance with consignment and implant traceability standards and reliable sourcing of administrative and facility management items. - Maintain stock levels, identify and develop a high-performing vendor base, negotiate contracts, and conduct vendor audits. - Ensure transparent and compliant procurement processes, maintain accurate procurement logs, monitor purchase budgets, and implement value engineering practices. - Oversee and optimize the use of ERP systems, generate and analyze MIS reports for consumption, purchases, pending POs, and vendor performance. Qualification Required: - Experience: Minimum 6 years in hospital procurement, handling both medical and non-medical procurement. - Education: Graduate in any discipline, preferred MBA in Materials Management / Hospital Administration / Supply Chain. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, strong analytical and negotiation skills, knowledge of JCI/NABH procurement compliance. - Soft Skills: Leadership, integrity, strong communication, coordination abilities, attention to detail. - Preferred Attributes: Experience in multi-specialty or tertiary care hospitals, exposure to CAPEX procurement, and knowledge of regulatory aspects related to implants and consignment items.,
