Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager Instrumentation to oversee and manage instrumentation-related activities in our API manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in instrumentation maintenance, documentation, calibration, project execution, audits, and automation systems, with strong knowledge in pharmaceutical regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Ensure proper installation, calibration, and maintenance of all instrumentation and control systems. Prepare and manage budgets for instrumentation and automation-related activities. Handle end-to-end project execution including selection, procurement, and installation of instruments. Develop and maintain instrumentation documentation (P&ID, loop diagrams, instrument data sheets, etc.) Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of instrumentation systems. Maintain and calibrate instruments such as RTDs, thermocouples, level transmitters, pressure transmitters, flow meters, and control valves. Manage and troubleshoot DCS systems, R-Scada, auto dispensing systems, cold chambers, and other process automation systems. Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, and regulatory audit requirements (USFDA, WHO, EUGMP, etc.) Coordinate with QA/QC, production, and validation teams for system qualifications and validations. Conduct training sessions for technicians and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Required Skills: Strong working knowledge in DCS/SCADA systems and automation tools . Familiarity with pharma-grade utility instruments (e.g., water plant instrumentation, cold chambers, HVAC sensors). Experience in calibration and qualification of instruments as per pharma regulatory standards. Good understanding of project execution , vendor management, and instrumentation lifecycle management. Expertise in audit preparation and regulatory compliance . Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and team-handling skills. Preferred Industry Experience: API Manufacturing (mandatory) Familiarity with GMP-compliant environments .
