Asst. Manager - CNC & PLC Programming - Field Services

Key Responsibilities:

PLC Programming & Troubleshooting:

• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs using platforms like Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.
• Handle control systems involving sensors, actuators, VFDs, and servo drives.
• Perform on-site diagnostics and resolve electrical/electronic faults in automation systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards during installations and servicing.

CNC Programming & Support:

• Understand machine schematics and electrical drawings.
• Assist in CNC machine setup, commissioning, and program optimization.
• Modify CNC programs based on customer requirements and machine performance.
• Provide support for electrical interfaces between CNC controllers and machine components.

After Sales & Field Support:

• Travel to customer sites (6070%) for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Train customer personnel on system usage, maintenance, and basic fault handling.
• Document service visits, issues resolved, and feedback for internal teams.
• Collaborate with design and production teams for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/Degree in

  Electrical or Electronics Engineering

• 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, CNC & PLC programming.
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits, control systems, and industrial safety.
• Familiarity with HMI/SCADA systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work in field conditions.

Work Environment:

• Field-based role with frequent travel to manufacturing and industrial sites.
• May involve working in challenging environments and extended hours during commissioning.
